Types of Infusions to Relax

There are different types of infusions to relax, depending on the effect they produce. All of them provide tranquility. However, nervousness is not always expressed in the same way. Sometimes it presents as anguish, other times in the form of a migraine, insomnia, etc.

The main types of relaxing infusions are as follows:

Sleeping infusions: They are the ones that basically serve to combat insomnia and contribute to having a truly restful sleep.

Herbal teas for anxiety: They act mainly in times of high stress or in an emotional crisis. They remarkably hydrate and contain antioxidants.

Infusions to lower the tension: Blood pressure is susceptible to mood. Many times it rises due to stress and, in turn, causes anguish. With an infusion, it is possible to help regulate it.

For the headache: Nervous states easily lead to experiencing headaches or migraines. Some infusions work very well in these cases.

1. Valerian infusion, to sleep peacefully

With valerian, you can prepare one of the most effective infusions to relax. This wonderful plant is very easy to get and ideal for those who have insomnia. In fact, a publication in The American Journal of Medicine concluded that valerian can improve sleep quality, although the evidence is still limited.

The infusion is made with the leaves, the root, or both. Just put a tablespoon of these in a cup of boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes before drinking. Excessive use can be toxic, so it recommends rest periods.

2. Passionflower, one of the infusions to relax

Passionflower is also known as “passionflower” and was used systematically by Aztec doctors to combat nervous states. It is a powerful herb, which should never be combined with medicated anxiolytics.

It also has analgesic effects and usually produces a certain euphoria, so it is not uncommon for it to be prescribed in cases of depression. The infusion is prepared by pouring a tablespoon of the plant into a cup of boiling water. Turn off, cover, and let stand for five minutes. It should not be administered to children under 4 years of age.

3. Green tea for Hypertension

Green tea has exciting properties, beneficial for different health problems. It helps in relaxing your circulatory system. Which makes it is one of the most recommended plants to treat an episode of increased blood pressure. Not only does it help regulate tension, but it helps keep it from rising again.

To prepare the infusion, you must put a teaspoon of green tea in a cup of boiling water. Then it is covered and left to rest for a time of between 10 and 15 minutes. At the end of this period, it is necessary to pass the liquid through a strainer. Ideally, drink one or two cups a day, for three days in a row, if the tension tends to rise.

4. Lavender, a Good antidote for Migraine

Lavender is ideal for making one of the best infusions to relax and, in turn, control migraine. It is a medicinal plant that has interesting properties, in addition to a pleasant aroma. It contains more than 150 active components, all of them very beneficial for the nervous system.

The best way to prepare the infusion is by boiling a cup of water and also by adding a tablespoon of lavender flowers while boiling. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes. Then filter and add a tablespoon of honey and a few drops of lemon. Take three times a day for a week. Rest a week and repeat the cycle.

Do you suffer from stress or anxiety? Are you having trouble sleeping? Then prepare one of these infusions to relax and enjoy its benefits. Of course, if the problem persists or becomes chronic, consult a professional to learn about other treatment options.
